Robert “Vigo” Vigorito
2013 USAT Lifetime Achievement Honoree Robert Vigorito is the founder of Columbia Triathlon Association in Maryland. Since 1984, he has created some of the most iconic events in the US including Eagleman 70.3, The Columbia Triathlon, Iron Girl, Chesapeake Man, and Celebrating Heroes Triathlon. A 6-time Ironman Kona finisher, Robert Vigorito had a vision to produce endurance events, especially triathlons, at the highest possible levels of challenge, safety, and integrity, and to make lasting and positive contributions to participating athletes, to the sport of triathlon, and to our community at large. Robert recently retired from CTA to embark on new goals and ‘challenges.’ Vigo is renowned as one of the best race directors in the world. Robert is a USAT Level II Certified Race Director.

Stephen Del Monte
Founder of DelMoSports LLC, a boutique race company founded in 2004. Stephen specializes in elite destination events along the southern New Jersey shore. He believes in high quality, athlete centered productions with an emphasis on community involvement while staying true to the sport of triathlon. Stephen’s events provide a challenging course, spectacular scenery and amazing vacation opportunities for athletes and their families. Stephen is a USAT Certified Level I Race Director.
